Where we stand??

As the Somalia political party most strongly advocating for the justice, unity and consultative of Somali people, the party’s principles are  :

• To campaign for the unity of Somalia through justice and consultation process of the Somali   people.
•  To advocate and promote centralized concept of Somali state. Federal Somalia is not possible politically, economically and security aspects.
• To safeguard, conserve for the Islamic believe and values of the Somali people.
•To encourage fair economic development while ensuring protection of the public interest and   promoting the redistribution of wealth.
• To promote equality of all citizens before the law ensuring independent judiciary.
•To protect the environment by ensuring that farming and development activities are sustainable.
•To promote for accountability and decency to the governance of Somali political system.

3-Economic development and employment :

• To protect and safeguard natural resources and other public assets of Somalia. We oppose any privatisation of the public assets such as airports, seaports and other public buildings
• To promote strategic national economic recovery and development that relies on national budget.
• To address current Somali Shilling issue and find solution for adopting strategic national fiscal policy.
• To protect national economy and local employment. It is important to develop and invest for primary sector such as agriculture, fisheries and livestock which are the backbone of Somali economy.

Further, we believe that the current main challenges to be addressed as follows:

1-Governance and political process  :

• To campaign for unity of Somalia and consult with all stakeholders to overcome the current challenges. We believe that Somalia is one nation, one people with one value.
• To phase out the so called current federal system as soon as possible. We believe political and governance system that Somali people own, which is based on for Somali people’s values.
• To promote consultation process with all stakeholders and different levels within Somali people to reach sustainable political approach.

2-National security and foreign policy :

• To protect and safeguard natural resources and other public assets of Somalia. We oppose any privatisation of the public assets such as airports, seaports and other public buildings
• To empower and equip Somali owned national security agencies such as military, police and national security agency.
• To oppose negative foreign intervention to Somalia whether it is political or military aspects. We believe that foreign army will not make peace to Somalia. We propose all foreign armies must leave Somalia’s jurisdiction immediately (land, air and sea).
• To promote regional and global security that is based on partnership and cooperation.
